Ping Pong Head
A personal project about ping pong.
The centerpiece of this project is a mock commercial for a ping pong paddle shaped like a human profile.
I came up with this art object about six months ago, and that’s when the idea for the video was born — a comedic mockumentary where actor and comedian Mikhail Kostretzov, playing a professor, presents the paddle as a scientific breakthrough, complete with diagrams and theoretical explanations.
We then developed a practical lab segment, where the paddle is tested for precision and speed, and shown to help defeat a variety of opponents.
The concept and script were developed collaboratively with Misha.
